"Order Size" Error

This article will help you troubleshoot the most common issues causing the Order Size error.

Written by Jacob

Issue:
Unable to enter or exit a position due to the error: "Your order's size is below the minimum requirement".

Reason:

1. The amount you are trying to enter with is less than the minimum trading amount allowed on WunderTrading.
2. The amount you are trying to enter with is less than the minimum trading amount allowed for this pair on the exchange.

Solution:
1. Your order size should be at least $5 ($10 in the Grid bot). This is the minimum trading amount allowed on WunderTrading.
2. Your order size should be above the minimum trading amount allowed for this pair on the exchange. You can find the trading limits for your exchange by visiting the corresponding section on the exchange’s website (usually listed under “Trading Rules”).

Example:
1. You are trying to enter Long with $25 on BTC/USDT using a connected Bybit API in the Terminal tab. In this case, you will receive "Order size error" because Bybit has set the minimum trading amount for this pair at 0.001 BTC (approx. $68 at the time this article was written).
2. You have entered a position with $1,000 on BTC/USDT and set four Take Profit (TP) levels: TP1 – 40% of the position, TP2 – 40%, TP3 – 15%, TP4 – 5%. You will get an error at the 4th TP level because this order will be only $50, which is below the minimum required amount for this pair of 0.001 BTC (approx. $68 at the time this article was written).
